Introducing an integration between GZ Learn (LMS) and GrowthZone AMS that automatically syncs learner completion data into the AMS - eliminating manual entry, reducing errors, and speeding up credit reporting for members
Why This Matters
Managing continuing education across systems has traditionally required staff to manually track learner progress in GZ Learn and re-enter it into the AMS.
This creates extra administrative work, increases the risk of data-entry errors, and delays the time it takes for members to see their earned credits reflected in their records.
With this new integration, completion data flows automatically from GZ Learn into the AMS - ensuring credits are recorded instantly, accurately, and consistently.
What This Means for You
With the GZ Learn to AMS sync, you can:
- Automatically record learner completion data in the AMS
- Eliminate manual entry of CE credits and scores
- Ensure faster, more accurate credit reporting for members
- Reduce administrative overhead for staff
Use it for: continuing education tracking, certification management, and streamlined credit reporting workflows.
An Automated CE Tracking Experience
This integration creates a seamless connection between learning and certification tracking.
When a learner completes a module in GZ Learn, their data is automatically sent to the AMS and recorded under the appropriate CE component — no manual updates required.
This includes:
- Completion status
- Credits earned
- Completion date

Key Capabilities
Automatic LMS-to-AMS Sync
Learner results are automatically written back into the AMS as soon as a module is completed.
New “GZ Learn” Component Type
Synced LMS modules appear in the AMS as a distinct GZ Learn component type, making them easy to identify within CE tracking.
One-Way Data Flow
The LMS remains the system of record for learning activity. Data flows one-way from GZ Learn → AMS to ensure consistency and accuracy.
1:1 Mapping Structure
Each LMS module maps directly to:
- One AMS component
- One AMS certification
This keeps tracking simple, structured, and predictable.
Who This Is For
This feature is available to GZ AMS customers using the CE Module.
Organizations not using the CE Module will not be impacted by this release.
Setting Up the Sync
Step 1: Create Your LMS Module
Build your module in GZ Learn as usual. The following fields will sync to the AMS:
- Module title
- Description
- Credits / CE units
Additional configuration options:
- “No Certificate” (recommended, as certificates should be managed in AMS)
- Group or permission restrictions (if applicable)
- Published status
Step 2: Enable “Sync with AMS”
Within the module settings in GZ Learn:
- Toggle on “Sync with AMS”
Once enabled and saved:
- The system will automatically create the corresponding AMS component
- Allow 2–3 minutes for the sync to complete
Step 3: Assign the Component in AMS
In the AMS CE Module:
- Locate the newly created GZ Learn component
- Assign it to the appropriate certification
This step follows the existing AMS workflow for certification setup.
Step 4: You’re All Set
Once configured, learner progress will automatically sync into the AMS.
As users complete LMS modules:
- Completion data is recorded in real time
- CE tracking updates automatically
- No manual entry is required
Continuing Education, Connected
